The look is fresh and easy to navigate and the graphics and images reflect the tranquil and nurturing environment they offer clients. Messaging is centred around their mission to be the first choice in alternative medical care for those suffering from pain, stress, anxiety, and internal disorders. The site facilitates online booking and new client intake.
New Website for Ridgeline Framing Ridgeline Framing is a subcontractor that targets almost all types of construction. Their new website presents their capabilities in each of the markets they serve. The messaging focuses on the priority they place on quality, safety, service and timeliness, and the design and colour scheme follows their existing branding. Dynamic banner images feature Ridgeline projects, as well as stock images that represent the type of work they do. The website also has a page designed for recruiting workers and allows for online job applications.
New Website for Ren-X Construction and Design Ren-X is uniquely focused on both design and craftsmanship, specializing in projects that are challenging in their creativity and scope. Their new website needs to showcase their unique work and also reflect how they position themselves in the residential construction market. By updating their existing logo, we rolled out a fresh new brand identity without losing the recognition they have established. The colour scheme and elements of the logo repeat themselves for a bold and distinctive new look. By continuing to add professional photography of recent job, the website provides an up to date resource for new and existing clients who wish to check out their capabilities or just be inspired.
Redesigned Website for McGill Photography Over four very successful years in business and it was time for a new website to showcase an exceptional and expanded portfolio. The new site is clean, simple and easy to navigate with an enhanced mobile experience. A gallery features high quality images and provides a sampling of Cam's work in key categories: industrial, architectural, lifestyle and corporate. And personal gallery page gives a glimpse into what Cam likes to shoot on his days off. Commercial photography doesn't get any better than this and there is nobody more competent and pleasant to work with.
Westminster United Church Website We just launched our brand new Westminster United Church website. Built on Weebly, it has more engaging graphics, simple, intuitive navigation and an excellent mobile version. The design closely follows the existing branding. A Facebook feed on the home page and integrated Google calendar keep the site automatically up to date with church activities and notifications.
Murray Leis Construction Website After creating Murray Leis Construction's first website in 2013, it was time for another refresh. Content was updated and, new banner and portfolio pictures added, and the overall design and layout is simplified and more refined. The site is more engaging and current, with a a much improved mobile version – important for Google ranking and for the majority who use smart phones and tablets for their web searches.
Backyard Theatre's New Production I designed the website and promotional materials for the new production coming this Fall from the Backyard Theatre – "The Other Side of the River", written and directed by Kathleen Cleyland Moyer.
Zimmer Dentistry Website Redesign Zimmer Dentistry just moved to a larger, brighter, more comfortable and convenient clinic in New Hamburg. Their new website introduces the new space and it's an expanded staff by incorporating new banner images, staff pictures and a gallery by McGill Photography. The site is clean, modern and easy to navigate. Key information is placed where the reader expects it and well-placed buttons make navigation easier. The overall design builds on the brand identity I created in 2012 and makes it stronger. In addition to an enhanced desktop experience, this new site has a better mobile version.
Café Roya Website Café Roya is an expression of owner Roya's passion for gourmet food, good health and bringing romance to everyday life. It is crucial that the branding and website reflects her vision. The interior of the café inspired the design of the website, which is refined and elegant with a distinctive black and gold colour scheme. Even the barn board accents from the café appear as background in the website. Café Roya is a very visual experience so it was important to present both the food and the café interior with exceptional photography. Cam of McGill Photography captured it beautifully.
Le Tour de Spice Website Le Tour de Spice offers a unique line of promotional spice products, as well as a spice subscription program. A strong online presence is important to any business, but especially in their case, where it acts as their storefront, presenting their various products and related services. It includes such features as a resource for recipes and spice information, guidelines for custom imprinting their products, videos and an online store for buying spice refills. The design closely follows their brand identity and establishes a strong online presence.
Online Finance Academy Website Online Finance Academy provides trading courses and custom financial markets training to institutions and retail traders globally. OFA's old website was visually outdated, did not perform well on mobile devices, and messaging was inconsistent and disorganized. It was time for a whole new website and also a brand refresh. I started by refining the existing logo and applying a more distinguished colour scheme that better reflects the elite training they provide. The website design is clean and crisp, with a fresh expression of the OFA brand identity. The content is simplified and reorganized, with only four main pages, for a more streamlined experience for visitors. An online store allows users to purchase basic courses or apply for the premium courses.
Live in Prevention Website Live in Prevention's mission to reduce the body's burden by providing what it needs to fight the onslaught of daily assaults – chemical, environmental, bacterial/viral, mental and emotional. Using their new logo by Sincerely CJ Creative as a starting point, I designed a website that projects a feeling of serenity and well-being. The soft colour scheme and graphic elements, inspired by the logo, work together to establish a distinctive and memorable brand identity. Banner images show a diverse range of women, Live in Prevention's target audience. The website layout is simple and easy to navigate, and includes a Blog, as well as a Resource page with links to a variety of relevant online resources.

Tricity South Pest & Wildlife Control When Tricity Pest Control expanded into wildlife control with a new division called Tricity South Pest & Wildlife Control, they wanted a unique logo and a separate website, but wanted to build on their reputation and name recognition. Building on the established brand identity, I modified the Tricity logo and applied the familiar messaging, graphic elements, colour scheme and layout to the website. Newly introduced wildlife removal services are featured with bold banner images, expanded content and updated SEO.
St. Marys Home Hardware Websites It's not often that I have the opportunity to work with family! My sister's family owns both the Hardware Store and Home Building Centre in St. Marys, Ontario and they asked me to help them building stronger online presence for their business. While Home Hardware Limited provides a comprehensive corporate website with online shopping, each individual store is unique, reflecting the focus of its owners and the needs of the community it serves. So having their own website for each of their stores helps them promote the range of products and services they provide and reach the markets that they are targeting. A landing page (stmaryshomehardware.com) introduces the two stores. Visitors select either the Hardware Store (samshomehardware.com) or the Home Centre (stmaryshomebuildingcentre.com). The overall design follows Home Hardware Ltd. branding, but with a fresh interpretation that makes these websites distinctive. A clean simple layout makes for easy navigation for both the desktop and mobile versions of the websites.
DukeCarroll Consulting Website DukeCarrol Consulting is a Waterloo-based consulting firm with a focus on marketing strategy for community and healthcare organizations. Their existing website did not project the right style and was confusing to navigate. Their new site takes a more business-like approach, with clear, bold messaging and a clean, refined design. Content was simplified so that the really important information stands out and is easy to follow. DukeCarroll's logo was already in place, but the design of the new site enhances the brand identity by integrating a range of graphic elements that reflect elements of the logo.
Roes-Zehr Electric Website This newly launched electrical contracting business needed a site that projects professionalism and invites trust, with a clear, simple message: "Done Right, On Time." The content is straight forward and easy to read and navigate, with strong visuals and graphic elements that help establish a distinctive style for their new brand identity. With the majority of internet traffic now from hand held devices, it's important to have a responsive site that performs equally well on desktop and mobile.
Harwood Investment Products Website Harwood Investment Strategies wanted a fresh new website that reflected the evolution of their business. The site introduces a new partner and an associate, while paying tribute to their late founder, Ed Harwood. With the ongoing transition from desktop to mobile online activity, it was important that the new website had a simple, responsive design that provides optimal results on any platform. The design of the site is consistent with the Harwood branding used across platforms.
Museum of Moments Branding and Website This was a fun branding and website project for a very unique business. Museum of Moments captures and preserves client meaningful experiences into a story – in a printed book or digital format. Anthropologist/owner Niki Wright believes that "every life is a museum, filled with moments. Collectively, these moments form a story that is valuable and worth sharing and remembering." Museum of Moments helps you put your history on paper.

Building on the brand identity I designed in 2012, the Regional Sealants and Waterproofing website focuses on their strengths of exceptional service and high quality applications. I created the tagline, "The Quality Goes in So the Weather Stays Out", positioning the business while clearly stating their purpose. Clean, refined graphics help to inspire the confidence of the engineers, contractors and facilities managers that they target. A range of on-site photographs display real-life examples of their six key service areas.
Anita's Skin Care Spa Branding and Website Anita's Skin Care Spa in Waterloo needed a new, mobile-friendly website that more effectively promotes their spa and premium services, while integrating online appointment booking and gift card purchases. The responsive design is clean and elegant and, with new lifestyle banner images and graphic elements that build on their existing branding. Integrity Painting Website Redesign To support their goal of establishing a stronger presence in Waterloo Region, this premium trade painter was looking for a website upgrade that included a better mobile experience. The new site continues with Integrity's established branding, but incorporates a simplified, responsive theme that looks great on a phone or tablet, as well as desktop. The stronger messaging builds on the theme of "integrity" and how it guides the company in every aspect of their work. SEO was also enhanced.

Marine Terrace Website I redesigned this website for the co-op association at Marine Terrace, our winter home in Pompano Beach, FL. The design reflects the colour scheme and detailing of the mid-century building and images of the property and beach neighbourhood appear in the banners. The site includes public information, as well as password-protected owner resources. The Marine Terrace logo incorporates the decorative sailboat detail that appears on each unit in the building, as well as the dolphin graphic featured on the elevator tower. Cambridge Custom Chrome Website Cambridge Custom Chrome's existing website was unattractive and uninspiring and it did not effectively present their specialized business. Furthermore, they were dissatisfied with the service from their provider. They asked me to create an improved site that could be very easily supported. The new Weebly site features strong images of automotive chrome and a more engaging design that is easy to navigate and to read. Dynamic headlines highlight their business's strengths and I rewrote the copy for better flow. The site is bright and welcoming, easy to navigate and features strong visuals of Waterloo Region.
River Run Estates Website Prinicpia Development's River Run Estates sits on a prime site between a large urban development and core regional environmental features in the Bridgeport North area of Kitchener. Their website reflects the branding established by their existing logo. The property's unique, natural setting is a strong selling point, so I created the tagline, "Come Home to Nature." Photographs and illustrations of the pristine, vacant building site are featured throughout the website. Key features are highlighted in headings and subtitles so that, even on a quick viewing of the website, the reader gets the overall message.

Hairizona Website Hairizona is a full service hair salon and spa in Kitchener-Waterloo. I created an entirely new website that is strong on visuals, with a simple layout that's organized and easy to navigate. In addition to the Salon and Spa pages, additional pages were created to promote Hairizona's in-salon product Boutique and their seasonal Specials. Custom-designed buttons add visual interest and aid navigation.
Durant Naturopathic Website I designed this website for Durant Naturopathic Clinic as part of a rebranding of their business. The website design is crisp, clear, light and welcoming and the colour scheme flows from the new logo design. Various graphic elements were created, inspired by their new logo. To portray the goal of optimum health, a wide range of interesting lifestyle images were used, showing healthy, active people in natural environments. The navigation is easy and intuitive.
DWR Drainage Website This new website promotes the DWR Drainage's specialized services for golf course and sports fields The landing page features their three areas of focus, each linked to it's own page. The client provided a range of on-site photographs to explain and illustrate the unique approach to sports field drainage that they have developed.
