SASC 2018–2019 Annual Report The mission of the Sexual Assault Centre of Waterloo Region is to support survivors of sexual violence and work to transform systems which promote gender-based violence. New Golf Without Limits Brochure I designed and developed the content for this tri-fold brochure for Golf Without Limits, an indoor golf academy in Waterloo. The brochure introduces the services GWL provides, as they move from a seasonal to a year-round facility: Professional Instruction, Leagues and Tournaments, Game Improvement Programs and Corporate and Private Events.
Feeney Design Build Brochures As part of a brand refresh for this builder of custom homes, I designed a series of brochures to promote the premium features and characteristics that differentiate a Feeney built home from standard construction. A more refined brand identity was created, incorporating graphic elements from their existing logo to establish brand markers, building consistency across all of their marketing communications, print and online. The overall look reflects the new Feeney Design Build website we just completed. Coordinating stationery completes the launch of the company's upgraded branding.
OHL Onside Program The Ontario Hockey League, with the collaboration the Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region (SASC) and the Kawartha Sexual Assault Centre (KSAC) has launched OHL ONSIDE, a program designed for OHL players and team staff, aimed at increasing the understanding and awareness of the player’s responsibility to demonstrate respect for women through actions and words. Using the existing OHL logo as a starting point, I designed the wordmark for the program, a workshop package, a resource directory and a series of educational posters.
Esta Chocolates Consistency across all media is critical in establishing a strong, memorable brand identity. Esta Chocolates printed communications incorporate the same standardized graphic elements as the company's website, social media pages and signage. This includes a striped pattern combined with an enticing chocolate swirl image and a gold and chocolate brown colour scheme. New items such as price list pages, product information tags, and seasonal gift cards are immediately recognizable as Esta.
Lucy's Garden Children's Book I had the pleasure of designing the layout for illustrator Lauren Youman's first children's book, Lucy's Garden. In this debut book, Lauren introduces Lucy and the wonders of her garden. This engaging story and Lauren's illustrations are sure to inspire green thumbs of all ages. SASC Promotion and Education Materials The Sexual Assault Support Centre uses a wide variety of printed material to educate their audience and increase awareness of their services. This includes pamphlets describing their programs, fundraising, and volunteer recruitment. A complete range of completely redesigned materials have just been produced with SASC's new branding. Consistent use of strong graphic elements will reinforce their established place in the community, but with a fresh, updated look.
Eastlake Acupuncture and Massage This project included the development of a new graphic standard for an acupuncture and massage clinic in San Diego. The existing logo was updated with colour and type refinements. A brochure was designed to highlight their capabilities, and a flyer created to to promote their Friday Night Rejuvenation package. With minimal investment, Eastlake's marketing communication has a more upscale, sophisticated look.
Norton Automotive Aftermarket Catalog I designed and produced this 72 page catalog for the Norton Automotive Aftermarket. It featured a sleek new layout and all new photography, including Corvette photos provided by GM Canada.
Roth Nowak Insurance Brochure and Flyer For Roth Nowak Insurance in Waterloo, I designed a brochure that promotes their services and staff, as well as a mailer introducing a new staff member. Both printed pieces were also designed as e-flyers and distributed via email.
Norton Culinary Sharpening Stone Brochure In addition to designing this brochure for Norton sharpening stones for the culinary market, I redesigned a decades old logo, retaining the basic elements of the well-recognized mark, but giving it a more dynamic, upscale look.
